We're doing 2 hours today. So far so good--for me, that is. I have no doubt she is doing just fine! Just a few tears (me again), and I go back to get her in about an hour. Breathe in, breathe out...

    Use the hour to take a long, luxurious shower without listening for a baby crying in the next room, dry your hair, take your time dressing, and enjoy the quiet (easier said than done, I know, but worth the effort).
    DD1 is 3, DD2 is 1.

    You're doing great. So true, babies really do love watching other kids. Very stimulating! You might have a very tired baby tonight. ;-)

    Thanks everyone! I *didn't* quite pamper myself while she was away but I enjoyed a whole latte while it was still hot! (don't think I've had a full cup of hot coffee on my whole maternity leave)

    Mallory did great. She slept most of the time, and when I went to pick her up, she was out on a buggy ride at the park with her class. :) She was totally happy and fine when I picked her up, and I feel a lot less traumatized knowing it went so well!

    Tomorrow she goes for 4 hours and I think I'm going to get a massage.

    Hopefully you made it through the day without shedding too many tears. I am hopeful that she loved being around all the other kids!
