ergo carrier

If you have the ergo baby carrier, when did you start to put your baby in the "regular" position?  My son is about 15 pounds and 25 inches and it is getting hard to hold him in the infant carrier (the original one).  His head control is pretty good but not steady  100% of the time.  Thanks!

    DD is 15 lbs and I just started using the Ergo with out the insert, but I do still use the little pillow for under her bum.  I had the heart to heart insert.

    DS is 3 months (about the same size as your LO, probably longer) and I tried just putting the pillow from the heart2heart insert in the ergo the other day and his head was a bit wobbly.  His head control is pretty good too.

    I got one this past weekend. The instructions say no regular carry till 4 months. It isn't good for their hips if you do it before then.
