What should DD wear to a funeral?

I'm a lurker but I came out because I thought you ladies would have some suggestions. A good friend of mine passed away and her funeral is on Saturday. I've thought about not taking DD, but my friend loved her and was there for me throughout my entire pregnancy. I do plan to sit on the end of a pew near the back so that me or MH can take her out if she gets antsy. Anyway, most of the clothes for her age are brightly colored and I was looking for something a little more subdued. Any ideas?

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I haven't given it much thought, and I'm sure anything will be fine.  However, if DD doesn't have a dark colored outfit, do you have anything else solid in a calming color  -- pastel yellow, blue, green, etc.?

    Lukas wore jeans and a dark onesie to a memorial service. I honestly don't think anyone will care if LO is dressed in bright colors but IMO, something darker is more appropriate

    Not sure what to tell you about the subdued colors, but most everyone there is just going to be so happy to see a baby that it probably doesnt matter what you put her in. 

     I'm very sorry about your friend's passing, my prayers are with her family and friends.

    I would say someting solid or maybe a dark blue dress.  I am so sorry for your loss!

    First and foremost I want to send my condolences.  I know the pain of loosing someone close.

    As far as clothes, have you checked baby gap.  Just searched real quick b4 responding and they have some cute dresses that would be not so bright and in your face.  There were even some black one's which is unusual.

    I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I'm dealing with figuring an outfit out for DS for a memorial service next week for my Great Aunt and I think he is doing dark slacks with his cream and blue Easter vest. I don't think subtle pastels is bad for a baby girl but I wouldn't go with something bright hot pink or purple. IMHO.

    I would check baby gap or tommy hilfiger.  E wore a dark purple tommy shirt (for $8 at the outlet!) for one.  So sorry for your loss.

    Thank you all so much for the condolences. I looked at Baby Gap and found a soft blue and white dress.

    We have a memorial to go to this weekend. DD will be wearing a dark blue sundress with a white sweater over it. It's really hard to find anything "funeral appropriate" for a baby girl!
