Don't flame me for asking this, I know most people would say that this question belongs on the trimester boards (no offense!) but I need to know some other moms opinions on them. I checked the reviews and a lot of them said about false alarms but I figured even if it went off 5 times a night, it would be a lot less than me checking on her already. So, what do you think of them?
Re: Moms with Angelcare Monitors...
BFP with no treatment!
Mine goes off every 20 minutes or so for no reason, we can't use it in the crib. She's still sleeping in her cosleeper for that reason, because there are no false alarms, but I've done everything right with the crib and it doesn't work. I called tech support at Angelcare and they don't know why it doesn't work either. I can't take it back because it worked in her cosleeper for the first few months so I didn't save the receipt.
That said, IF it works for you you just can't beat it. I'd still be freaking out every night, I'm freaking out that she's getting too big for the cosleeper and I won't be able to use it anymore.
We do have the one with only one sensor pad and Allie moves a lot in her sleep, maybe if we had the one with 2 it would be better?
