5 month old stats
Hi - just curious to see what other 5 month olds are doing at this point.
- How much is your 5 month old eating? My one lo eats around 5-7 ounces a feeding and my other LO eats around 7-9!
- How much do they weigh? Not sure as they haven't been weighed in a while, but my one LO is most definitely on the heavier side, while the other is average weight
- Have you started solids? If yes, how often are they eating and what are they eating? Yes, we started rice cereal a few weeks ago. Right now, we're only incorporating it in one meal a day, but will probably increase it soon.
- Are they sttn? Mine do occassionally. It's still hit or miss.
- How are they on tummy time? Mine are both pretty good, but I feel like we could do better at this. They both get frustrated with tummy time and refuse to do anything after a little while. 
I think that's all I have for now!

DS EBF, so eats whenever he wants.
Weight 18.5 lbs
We are going to start solids this Sat!
He STTN, and has been since about 4.5 months.
He is doing great on tummy time. Although he is much better in the morning.
Our DD eats 5-7 ounces
She weighed in at 18lbs 13oz at 5 months on the dot
We started solids last week...sweet potato and squash...usually only once a day, but we plan on upping that soon.
She is finally CONSISTANTLY sleeping through the night...before that she would sleep maybe every other night all the way through...waking up at 5am to be fed when she did wake up.
She loves tummy time...she is actually pushing herself up onto all fours and will rock back and forth...crawling is right around the corner! She rolls really well...she actually rolls all over the place! And she cut her first tooth yesterday!
Wow! My Lo just rolled over for the first time the other night.
DD eats 5-6 oz bottles and one 2 ounce jar of baby food.
DD weighed 15 lbs, 13 ozs.
- How much is your 5 month old eating? 7-8oz. 4 bottles a day.
- How much do they weigh? Weighed him at home holding him and then without holding him and he's around 16lbs.
- Have you started solids? If yes, how often are they eating and what are they eating? Yes, started rice cereal with 1st and 4th bottle.
- Are they sttn? Yes. Usually 7-7. He's been wanting to wake up around 5amish lately but will usually go down on his own or after a short period of time. He doesn't eat then though.
- How are they on tummy time? Tummy time is going really well. He likes to scoot himself side to side or in circles so he doesn't really go anywhere but still moves around a bit. He also really loves doing tummy time on the boppy so I let him do that too. He also gets frustrated if he's flat on his tummy for too long so the boppy has been really helpful for this.- How much is your 5 month old eating? 6 oz. every 3 hours + 1 T. of cereal in the morning
- How much do they weigh? 12# 12 oz.
- Have you started solids? If yes, how often are they eating and what are they eating? Yup, started a couple weeks ago. Oatmeal & Bannana and Rice & Apple once in the mornings
- Are they sttn? Has been since 2 months old. *KNOCK ON WOOD*
- How are they on tummy time? He has to be in the mood. He likes it alright, but he's a spitter-upper so we can't do it right after eating.
TBF
- How much do they weigh? At exactly 5 months he was 20lbs.
- Have you started solids? If yes, how often are they eating and what are they eating? Yes. Started around the 5 month mark. Just doing it for learning right now. Rice cereal was NOT a success!
- Are they sttn? Yes, but we co-sleep. He's always been a good night-sleeper, it's the naps that are the bane of my existence!
-Tummy time? He's never been a fan! He's moving backwards now though - he wiggles his toes and uses his arms to push himself. Kinda' funny. We usually do more practice with sitting and then he gets himself onto his tummy. Floor time seems to last longer this way.
In other news - he got his first two teeth at 4.5months!
