What would you do? About 30 minutes ago, my left hand and up into my arm went numb... no feeling at all. Now my body feels drugged. I can't focus, i'm a little dizzy, and I just feel... wrong. Would you leave work half day to go lay down?
Ditto the others. You shouldn't be driving...call your doctor, and drink some water/put your head down/rest as best you can there. Depending on what doctor says, as needed get someone to drive you home.
I would definately get a ride home and go lay down. Be sure you eat something too! I had very similar symptoms about 2 weeks ago and it ended up being bad gas bubbles If you're not feeling better after a good rest, call your Dr. GL and feel better!

Call your Dr. It could be a sign of Pre-e. But call and see if they want you to come in. See if someone can bring you some water as well instead of getting up yourself.
Call your doctor. When I was 17 in high school I had an episode where I lost feeling in one side of my body, when I spoke it came out all garbled, I couldn't spell simple words like "the" and "and" (I was in class taking notes. This lasted for about 15 minutes. During which time I tried to explain it to people but I couldn't speak properly so it wasnt making sense. It was very scary. They did all sorts of tests on my saying that the worst case scenario was a brain tumor. Which totally freaked me out. They ruled it a migraine headache of all things....although I didnt have a headache at the time....but it never repeated itself and I am now 33 and healthy. Your symptoms may be pregnancy related, may not be, may be serious, may be nothing. But rather than worry like I did that I was having a stroke....I would call my doctor and put my mind at ease.
Thanks for the advice everyone! My husband is going to come get me and I'm going to go relax. I called my doc about the numbness and she said if it came back to call back. Luckily I was just there yesterday and my BP was fine, so I think I'm ok there. Hopefully this goes away soon because I don' tlike this feeling. Thanks again!!!
I had similar things happen to me a couple of months ago, with numbness in my hand/arm and face, as well as blurry vision and light-headedness. My doctor told me to go to the ER. It ended up being a migraine. Hopefully that's all that it was for you (not that it makes it feel any better, but at least you know that it was nothing wrong with the baby or anything).
Thankful to be home full time with my two little children, daughter 2 years and son 4 months. www.freedomathometeam.com/kkaz
Re: Advice needed
Can your SO pick you up and stay with you? I wouldn't be driving if you are that dizzy.
