Does anybody have any suggestions on where to shop for tall people? I am just getting to the point where my regular clothes are starting to get tight and don't have much time left!! I haven't had too much luck looking around yet.
I am out in the west suburbs. I would prefer to be able to try on before buying but it seems like a lot of places only offer tall online. I ordered some pants from the Gap online but when they arrived I didn't really care for them. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
Re: Maternity clothes for tall people
I'm 5'10" with long legs- almost impossible to find stuff long enough in stores without adding in the maternity factor.
I ended up buying online (like I do for regular clothes)- the only local store that I went to was Belly Dance (but that is in the city).
Good luck- I had a crazy time finding maternity pants and jeans long enough for me- I spent almost my entire pregnancy in skirts and dresses.
How tall are you? I am 5'8, and like the above poster I also wore a lot of dresses and skirts throughout my pregnancy. I found a great pair of black work pants from JCPenney. But overall I had to do a lot of digging around to find maternity clothes that I liked.
Oh! And also check out the maternity section in Macy's at Oak Brook mall. They have a lot of the same clothes that you find in Motherhood and Pea in a Pod, but the return policy is better and some items are even cheaper.
