I decided that I needed to do something! I have been using a similar online program to track my calories, but really Weight Watchers worked for me in the past. I am doing the online version. I actually hit lifetime about 4 years ago, but have since gained it all back.
Re: Joined WW again
I've been thinking about joining again as well. Like you, I've gained it all back that I lost about 4 years ago.
I have all of my books, points caluclator, etc. still but I can't decide if I want to do it online or face to face. I think I may need to accountability of the F2F meetings and weigh ins.
Good luck!
Best of luck, ladies!
Jess - what online program were you using to track previously?
i was using an app on the iphone called Lose it. it was fine for tracking calories, but i actually do like the points. i know what i need to do and have all of the materials (a few times over) from WW. So i think i will be ok without going to the meetings. I just really didn't want to drop $35 a month on the meetings. Online is only $18.
I was doing WW online for 3 months, and now I'm following the program on my own, still weighing on my weigh in day and keeping a spreadsheet instead. I bought a points calculator/tracker and that works for me. I really liked all the online tools, but since I know what I'm doing now I didn't feel the need to pay anymore
GOOD LUCK!!!

Lots of Luck to all of 3T/IF
Yeah I am in the same boat. i know what i need to do. i just need to do it! it really worked great for me in the past. I mainly bought the online version just for the iphone app. i have found that tracking on my iphone really makes a world of difference.
I've been thinking of doing the same. I'm really overweight as it is and I'd like to lose some weight so that if/when it comes to IVF, I'm already at a better weight. Plus I had to cringe when I saw some recent pics of myself.
same here. i don't even recognize myself. i gave myself a short goal of just 5% weight loss so we will see how it goes. i think having a smaller goal will help.
I did WW online before my wedding. It was great! I still have the membership and really need to get back to it. I weigh more now than I did when I was trying to lose weight for my wedding just less than 2 years ago.
WW online has some really great recipes. We particularly love the General Tso's chicken, chicken sagwala and jamaican jerk turkey burgers with tropical fruit salsa. My husband makes these recipes quite frequently!

I think that is a great idea. and we don't have to limit it to WW. We can just do a weight loss check in. I wouldn't mind handling it. Why don't we do it every thursday morning? or actually i am up for any day. I am going to be doing my own weigh in on sundays so even Monday morning would be fine with me.
Any day is fine with me, I like the idea of it being on Monday because then I'll make Monday my weigh-in day and I'll have to behave on the weekends.
I'm in!
I would totally be interested in doing a check in with you ladies.
I've always struggled with my weight, and after being forced by my mother and grandmother to go to WW when I was a teenager, I just can't do it as an adult.
