DD typically has her first bottle of the day at 6:30 a.m. and her last one at 8:00 p.m. She eats a 6 oz bottle about every 3-3.5 hours. So she usually eats about 30 oz. per day total. I send her to my mom's with 3 6 oz. bottles and she takes them all (my mom also has some formula powder there just in case she's extra hungry one day).

My son is eating 8ozs every three hours. Between 40 and 48 ozs a day. Sometimes he will take 9 ozs. We are asking about starting rice when we go to the dr. next week.
My EBF kids take about 8 oz in a bottle and eat 4 times a day. I was worried when they dropped their night feedings and were only eating 4 times a day so I bought a scale. Turns out when they BF they eat anywhere from 6-10 oz (I was super surprised at that 10 oz BF). So I would offer her 8 oz the first couple times and see how much of it she drinks. Then you'll probably have a good idea what to fill the bottles with next time. Also go to kellymom.com for more info.

Re: How many oz. does your 3/4 mo old eat?
My FF baby generally eats 4-6 ounces every 3-4 hours during the day and every 5-6 hours at night.

We just bumped DD up to eating 5 oz. every 3 hours. She gets one 6 oz. bottle right before bed now that she is STTN.
DS is BF & gets 3 - 5oz bottles during the day while I'm at work. Sometimes I put in slightly more (5.5 oz or so)
