DH went back to work today

It's my first day all alone with LO.  I've been really nervous for the last few days, anticipating pure hell.  We're only a few hours in to the day, but I'm starting to think maybe it's a little easier with just myself and LO home.  DH jumps up and thinks DS needs to be picked up out of swing/bouncer/bassinett whenever he makes the smallest little sound.  There is literally NO relaxing.  Meanwhile, this morning has been very mellow...

Anyone else find that things actually got easier when SO went back to work?

    I stayed home alone for 2 months while DH worked. It was wonderful because i knew everything about DD and what she wanted. When DH would come home, he was clueless and would shove the pacifier in whenever she peeped. It's ok, they don't have the natural instinct like we do. I just laughed at it but he is much better now and has more patience with her. Good luck being on your own.

    DH went back to work after 3 days so I had to get used to DD on my own real quick. I love our alone time. You'll do great!

    ITA!  i think it's because it was louder when he was home, and he tends to think she's about 6 months old and overstimulates her (we're working on that haha)  she is napping a lot better now...but i do miss the help
