My morning

I take SS to school on the mornings that we have him. I usually get me and the baby ready before waking him because he can be difficult to get out of bed. This morning I was feeding DD when I feel a little tap on my shoulder.

"What day is it?"

"It's Thursday."

"Oh."

So I go back to what I was doing and he taps me on the shoulder again.

"Um, were you gonna wake me up for school?"

"Yes, but not for another 10 minutes. If you want to go lay back down that's cool."

So he does. And then I have to go wake him up four times to get him out of bed. I should've just said "Yes, and you're up so why don't you go get dressed!"

Live and learn I guess. Huh?

    LOL my DD is the HARDEST child to get out of bed in the morning.... she is definitely not a morning person. SHe likes her sleep. I have never in her 7 years had a problem getting her to go to bed. My favorite times is when at about 6am she comes and crawls in bed with us for that last hour of sleep and snuggles up to me.
