I'm starting to notice that whatever I do, people jump to the conclusion that it's a pregnancy thing. I scratch my stomach once, and get asked "are you itchy?". I order onion rings once, and automatically everyone says it's a craving. I say something sarcastic, and it's hormones.
Anyone else notice that they are only seen in pregnant terms?
Re: Vent: Not everything is pregnancy-related
I swear it feels like I am only a vessel carrying on DH's family name.
Yup, and I know that as soon as I give birth, I'll be totally expendable. Hah.
Ugh. My Father in Law does this all the time. AND any time he sees me he asks "How's my Grandaughter?"
She's fine.
I'm fine too. Thanks for asking.
My coworkers started those comments as soon as they found out I was pregnant at 12 weeks. Finally I pointed out I'd been exactly the same way before I was pregnant and they were all like, oh yeah, you were. Haha.
