Will someone explain to me why the penguin is the IF mascot of choice? I don't know squat about penguins so I don't know if there is something special about their reproductive behaviors that people struggling with IF identify with but I just know I have seen lots of penguins in the IF ladies' siggies.

It has to do with the King Penguin. Basically they have to endure a lot to have just one baby.
