What do you think of full moons?

DS has been having a totally off week.  Irritable and not going to bed at night.  He usually falls asleep on his own just fine.  Last night I rocked him for 40 minutes to get him to sleep without screaming.  Then I realized there was a full moon and everything seemed to make sense!  Is that wierd??

    I think they make kids act crazy.  My 5th graders are always nutty when there's a full moon!!

    Not at all.  I taught for 10 years and the kids were often off during the full moon.  It was a bit eerie. They would be off the wall in every grade and we would go back to the faculty room to check the calendar and sure enough-full moon.

    I think they are BAD!!! LOL!! I am a 3rd grade teacher and whenever there is a full moon the kids are off the wall!!!

    I am a mental health therapist and I always have more crisis calls around full moons.

    It's interesting you say that because DS has been a terror since the weekend.  We keep asking "What the hell is wrong with him?"  Maybe that is it.

    It just might!  My grandma said that I would deliver DD on the 19th and I asked her why.  She said that it was going to be a full moon.  I was like, "Pshaw, that's nonsense."  Well.... lo and behold I delivered on the 19th!  The full moon brought that baby out.

    DH is working the late shift this week, leaving just me in the evenings.  From now on he will have to plan his early and late shift weeks around full moons.  Wonder how his boss will take that!

    I worked in a call center about 10 years ago and we had statistical data that complaints, manager calls and "an alien is watching me" kind of calls came more frequently during periods of full moons. So, no, not weird at all.

    DD has been totally off, too, now that I think of it.
