Please recommend a place for 1 year old b-day party (HB)

Hello,

I thought it was too early to start planning my LO 1st birthday party, but after reading one of the post here, I noticed was not.  I call community services to make reservations in HB Central Park, but is booked already.  Do you recommend any other parks? any other places? 

We are planning to invite around 10 kids, ages 1 to 5.

Please help me with this.  His B-day is mid September.

    There are a lot of other parks in HB, Costa Mesa and Newport. Teawinkle in CM is good. There are some good ones by El Morro in Newport/Corona del Mar. I know a family that had theirs at the beach in CDM. Not very crowded.

    OMG! They were already booked for September too! I figured mine was b/c it was a summer bday.

    Guess now we know for next year :) Good luck!

    I second Tewinkle Park.  I am slightly biased though, my own first birthday was held there many years ago.

    September the weather should still be warm enough for a beach birthday if you can bring some sort of canopy for shade and a fold out table or two.
