They took her off the beta blockers because they weren't working and were just making her sicker. Also, now she has pneumonia.

Things aren't looking very good.

Speed, thanks for the updates even though they are hard to stomach. My thoughts and prayers are with Maddie and her family. Are you still doing cards or are you too busy with the move?

Withoutshoes - I'm still accepting cards at this address for the next 2 weeks. Let me know if I need to send it to you.

This morning they put her in ICU due to a fever and she's not allowed any visitors. I may still try to hand off the few cards I have tomorrow. I'm just not sure.

My prayers with Maddie and her family. It is so hard to see your child sick and hurting. My own son was born with 2 birth defects and it was hard enough to see him go through surgery for one of them, so I can only imagine what these parents are going through. I just came on the NC boards this morning and read a couple of your posts about Maddie. Makes me cry. I will get my brother and brother-in-lw to pray for her. They are both pastors, so she will have two whole churches praying for her.
