3rd Trimester

It's a lot harder than I thought.

Pregnancy that is.

I was in pretty good shape before BFP.  I thought pregnancy would be so simple for me, I wouldn't gain a lot of weight because I "trained" myself not to eat crap, etc.

HA----it's the complete opposite.  I've definity gained more than I should have.  And this past week has been horrible.  I could just lay in bed all day.  My back hurts, my feet (and they're super swollen).

But really, I'm trying not to b*tch too much about it.

  • I agree with you - even though I was not in great shape pre-pregnancy, this is really hard.  I try not to complain to anyone and just keep a smile on my face b/c I know it will all be worth it in the end.
  • Ugh!! It's been a breeze up until the last couple weeks for me...now I'm tired all the time, my hips and back hurt when I walk too much and I'm just so ready to have this baby! I feel like I've been PG forever now. The saddest part is that I still have about 2 months to go. I don't like to complain either, but I'm taking this opportunity to since I'm usually pretty good about keeping my mouth shut.
  • ::eating cake:: I know what you mean. LOL  But the bad food tastes so much better than the good stuff.
  • I know exactly what you mean! I just about 5 mini chocolate barsSad
  • I had two pieces of coffee cake this morning.

Just hang in there.  After the baby is born everything is different.  In alot of cases the weight comes right back off and you have more energy when you get your body back.  Of course the sleep thing gets in the way at first but at least the pain of what feels like a 40 lb baby is gone.

  • I agree it's a lot harder than I thought. BUt then again I had no idea what to expect.
Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! • Alot harder than i thought too! i used run 5 miles a day at the crack of dawn. Now i dont even know who that person was. I barely wake up, tired all the time, horrific back pain, can barely walk, eating crap, heartburn, hemerroids, swollen feet... i can go on and on. Hopefully i can find myself again after the baby comes.
