Pampers with Dry Max?

I read on here it gives diaper rash bad or what's the problem with them? I received a HUGE box of them and I am wondering if I should exchange them for the regular kind?

Re: Pampers with Dry Max?

  • Yeah, I don't know. I just got a super jumbo pack as well and I started using them. I really like it because they are so thin and the regular diapers are so thick and chunky. I'll see how it goes, so far so good!! But I also only use them at night and then in the morning.

  • I would put them on your daughter and if she doesn't react then keep using them. I have heard just as many people not having problems as I have with. Take everything you read/hear with a grain of salt and try it for yourself.
  • We haven't had any issues with them yet, I'm sure every baby is different, try them :)
  • we've been using them since Monday afternoon and haven't had any issues with rash or leaks of any kind yet.
  • The Swaddlers Sensitive don't have Dry Max til size 3 and they still have the indicator.
  • Pampers' response to those claims was pretty much that any time they change anything there ends up being a subgroup of people that blame them for things that would have happened anyway. Makes sense to me, but I also know that this response upsets some people. We also use pampers and haven't had any problems yet, but also only use them at night.

You can look on facebook at the group: something like 'bring the old cruisers back'.  I learned a lot.  I also had a large box so i went and bought a small pack to make sure she didn't react to them.  Well, the small pack I bought was actually the old pampers in the new package...same thing with my large box when I opened it.  I'm not sure what to do yet; I'll probably wait a month and buy another small pack.  I'm afraid my LO will react to them; I just switched to cloth wipes because we had reactions to 4 kinds of wipes, including the sensitive ones...

I recently switched to 7th generation diapers and am really happy with them. If you've got a sensitive LO and are not looking to CD, I would recommend trying them.

  • we've been using them since day one with no issues.  i would try them for yourself.
