Hmmmm....Jumperoo?

I am trying to decide whether or not to get a jumperoo in place of the exersaucer.....are they noisy when the LO's jump / bounce?  I have bounced a few in the stores, and they seemed really noisy....

Re: Hmmmm....Jumperoo?

  • I HIGHLY recommend one over an exersaucer!  I dont think they are overly noisy...it is probably at its noisiest when DD goes crazy and really gets going with the jumping...it is worth it when you see your child so happy in it!

    Which one do you have?

  • Just bought DD a Fisher Price jumperoo.  She loves it.  She has the biggest smile on her face and just laughes everytime she is in it.  I dont think it is too noisy.  I always put the volume on the lowest setting.

  • I just commented below on your DD's name...our daughter is a Georgia as well!  We have the Fisher Price ocean themed one...we had the rainforest before and they are exactly the same...just different themes.

By "noisy" I meant like clunking / rattling noises....KWIM?

  • A little, but not bad. Just depends on how much she is jumping and slapping at the animals and rattle thingys on it.

When did you put your baby in there?? I think my DD would LOVE it now.. but she is just starting to get the whole - hold you head up on your own - thing.. Lol.

  • We just bought it this past Saturday.  DD has really good head and neck control.  However, we dont leave her alone in it. We sit with her while she plays in it and take her out when she starts to slump or becomes aggitated. I questioned getting one since she is only a little over 3 months old, but she loves it and we just let her dictate how long she spends in it.

  • My daugther LOVES her jumperoo.  When she isn't in it and you are holding her she tries to jump.  She loves it.  I recommend it.  It isn't noisy at all.  Just the sounds if you turn the sounds on, but not the jumping itself.
