Someone tell me I am crazy

in Pregnant after a Loss

Before our m/c I had bought a book for grandparents and wrapped it in Christmas paper. It was under the tree ready to go. After we found out on Christmas Eve that the baby was gone, I took the book and put it away. It is still wrapped in Christmas paper.

DH brought up that his idea for telling his parents is to take that book and wrap it in new paper and give it to her for Mother's Day.

I know that I am being completely stupid but I don't want to do this. I want to buy a new book and leave the other one right where it is.

I am just being crazy right?
