WWYD re: OOT bachelorette party

My friend is getting married in August and I am a bridesmaid. The bachelorette party is a few days before the wedding, 3 hours away and it is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I'm a single mom so this puts me in a very difficult situation.

I don't want to be away from my baby for 3 days, and I don't have anyone to watch him. My mom might be willing to take time off of work, but I would hate to ask her to do that. I feel obligated to go though since I am in the wedding.

Should I explain the situation to my friend and not go? Should I go for one night and see if my parents can watch my son? Help!!

    I had a BM who couldn't make it, I was bummed but understood that asking her to fly to Vegas was sort of asking a lot anyway.

    if you can, it would be fun to go for one night. but if u can't its not a big deal.. i think they'll understand your situation

    Thanks ladies. I agree, it is kind of a lot to ask. I haven't completely decided yet but I am leaning towards not going. Especially since I have to be available all day and night Friday and Saturday that week for the rehersal dinner and wedding so I will need a sitter then too.
