getting sour milk smell out of bottles

My DH usually feeds LO once a night and there is always some milk left over in the bottle. It sits in there until the next day when I have a chance to clean up but as a result, several of our bottles smell like sour milk. I've tried soaking them in detergent, soaking them in water and baking soda and sterilizing but nothing has helped. Should I just toss them out or is there anything else to try? These are our Dr. Browns bottles which weren't exactly cheap but they are unusable they way they are now

Vinegar might help with the smell. You could boil them.

I'd use white vinegar.

Same thing happened to us with some of our Dr. Brown's. We ended up throwing them out and buying glass ones.

We just pop ours in the dishwasher.

Vinegar to clean. Boil to sterilize if needed.

I've tried the dishwasher and it didn't help at all (I've washed them at least 5 times since we noticed the smell). I'll try the vinegar and if that fails, just toss them
