Anyone else still using 4 oz bottles?

We have the Dr. Brown's bottles which are 4 oz. The boys pretty much take around 4, maybe 5 oz at a time. They eat like every 2 1/2 hours. They won't eat more in one sitting though. Anyone else have a similar situation? They are only drinking BM. They also wake up and eat twice in the middle of the night. I feel like they are always eating. I see babies here that eat every 4 hrs! Is that the norm?

    yes, ds still only takes 4 oz of BM. HE WAKES UP 1-2 TIMES DURING THE NIGHT.

    Charles eats 9-10 oz when he goes to bed & gets up, and 5-6 oz every 3 hours or so during the day (3x a day)

    My LO eats every 2 1/2 to 3 hours and he also takes less than 4oz when it's from a bottle.

    Evan eats every 2-2.5 hours & takes in 4-6 oz at a time. I always make 4. sometimes he'll just drink 3 & other times he wants more ..but since i dont like to waste milk i'll just start off with 4 oz.. He's on formula.. your babies sound about normal to me

    My little one only takes 3 oz at a time from the bottle. He doesn't seem to still be hungry after that. He eats about every 2 1/2 - 3 hours normally BF only unless I pump bottles for when I'm working or away.

    DD only eats BM, besides the 2 bottles of formula she had to have when I just didn't have enough stock for a day at work, and she is up to 6oz at a time. A month ago she was taking 5 oz. She moved up to 6oz about 2 weeks ago and then 1 week ago she started STTN from 7pm to 5am. I think the extra oz per bottle let her drop her night feed! She eats every 3 hours during the day, pretty reliably.

    Yup... DCP asked for bigger bottles because she's eating more like 6-6.5oz during the day, but at home, when we need to give her BM from a bottle, it's usually only 4-5oz.

    DD was eating 5 oz at a time so I packed away all the 4 oz bottles.  Now I can't get her to take more than 3 oz at a time (a couple weeks now) except for bedtime...then she takes 7 oz.  Seems like at almost 5 months she should be eating more at a time.  UGH

    I still use the Dr. Brown's 4oz, but I usually put 5 to 6oz in them. DD eats from a bottle twice while I am at work from 8 to 2. She eats every three to four hours.

    we are at 5 oz of BM at daycare (otherwise she nurses).

    She sometimes STTN, sometimes doesnt.

    DS eats about 3.5- 4 oz every 2 1/2 - 3 hours. (3 hours would be really pushing it) He STTN (most of the time- knock on woodStick out tongue) Goes to bed at 8:00ish and up at 6:15ish.

    He has moved up from 3 oz- to 4 oz just in the past few weeks.

    We use the Playtex Ventaire 6 oz. bottles during the day and the 9 oz. bottle before bed (these are the only two sizes they come in). Abbey typically eats 5 oz. every 3 hours during the day and then she gets a 6 oz. bottle right before bed. She doesn't wake up in the middle of the night for a feeding anymore.
