We actually dont acknowledge them at all....not bc of any real reason, she just doesnt even break stride when she does, so since she doesnt, I dont either....except for saying 'excuse me'.
Spush. DD1 taught this to DD2 and she likes to announce so no one know but us what she is saying. I am thankful because about a month ago all during church DD2 kept saying "I spushed".
i hate the word fart..it sounds so gross to me so we say poop when ds says "i pooped" i say "did you poop gas or did you poop" and hell say "gas, excuse me" he loves to blurt it out loud when anyone at all does it!
We say shooting ducks. Silly right? Just came out one day and it has stuck. Mostly he doesn't acknowledge it, but sometimes he'll say "I shootin' ducks!"
The other day, at the dinner table, DD announced 'Dandad toots all time at Nanny Dandad house' (meaning that her Grandad toots all the time at his house), which is the longest sentence she has ever said...I almost spit out my spaghetti...and my dad was super proud
You are going to think I am Crazy, I don't necessarily say it out loud in public but when I was little my babysitter back then used to say to us, did you FannyBurp? So every now and then I say it too! LOL!
Re: Baby talk: what do you call farts?
lol
We call them "toots" with DD.
Zachary Ryan - 1/13/08 - 6lbs 15oz, 20.5 inches
Lilia Rose - 5/11/10 - 8lbs 6oz, 21 inches
I'm not sure who taught this to DS (maybe MIL?), but he calls it "gas"
It is hysterical!
"You reach deeper until you can find the strength. That's all life is, one big fight after another."
Angel babies: 9/19/07, 10/08/09, 1/05/11
I say, "Did you pass gas?" or "fart" depends on my mood.
DD says, "poopies."
Pooters or Poots.
When he's sitting on the potty and farts, he likes to announce, "POOTED!!!"
Thanks, baby.
when ds says "i pooped" i say "did you poop gas or did you poop" and hell say "gas, excuse me"
he loves to blurt it out loud when anyone at all does it!
Mama Jan's Kitchen... a food blog
We just say fart. I tried to say toot but DH put a stop to that.
Now when DH farts DS will scream "Daddy farted" and laugh like it's the best thing in the world. Boys....

So fannyburp!
We say fart.
And DD also announces them, gives a very mischevious grin, and then laughs hysterically.
