Or do I need to find a new pharmacy? EVERY time I get a prescription called in to CVS, whether it be from the kids' pedi or my OB or whatever, when I get to CVS (or call to check) they say they haven't received the prescription from the doctor. Seriously - like every time. For awhile I thought it was the pedi doing something wrong, but I had a script called in tonight at 5:30pm and just called and they said it's not there.
WTF.
Is this common, or does CVS on W. Slaughter just really suck?
Re: wtf? does this happen to everyone?
That's way annoying. I generally use the Walgreens at brodie and william cannon because they are open 24/7. So, if I forget to get my refill earlier in the day I can call it in later on. I've not had bad problems with them "losing" or not getting scripts, either.
Does this mean that the pretty princess has the pink eye? I hope not!
Yeah, Rach, I'm sure. Unless all 3 doctors we frequent are idiots. Which I hope is not the case. Focking CVS. They're building a new Walgreens closer to us anyway, so adios, CVS.
LLCG, no, it's her pretty mama with a not so pretty sinus infection. Good times. The princess still has a gooey eye, but it's getting a bit better so I haven't taken her in.

Ugh! That's never happened to us with a CVS. We did have similar issues with a RR Walgreens though....You might should try a new pharmacy.
You know, now that you say that I'm remembering that I had a bad experience with the CVS near us. I cannot for the life of me remember the details, only that I vowed never to use their pharmacy again, lol!
Update in case anyone cares (I'm sure you're on the edge of your seats): totally CVS being morons. The message was on their machine at 5:50 and it wasn't until my THIRD call at 7pm that they'd retrieved it.
We'll be moving to Walgreens. Enough already.

The Blog
That CVS messed some stuff up for us too, several times. We use Randall's mostly now, but if we need something after hours, we go to Walgreens.
Seriously, I thought I was going to die, my toddler was about to tear apart the entire store, it was the second time that day I'd been over there to pick up my rx, AFTER I had called and confirmed it was ready, still took 45 additional minutes! I was the only person there waiting and they are all morons. I have a short fuse for stupidity and DH is more patient and they even pissed him off - twice.
Ug. I was going to suggest that you ask them to check their messages. I've had that happen at various pharmacies before. I'm at HEB now, and it's pretty good, but I once went up to HEB for a phenegren prescription, throwing up in the car and gagging while I'm there, then the guy says he doesn't have it. I had to ask him to check his messages, and bingo! There it was.
Seriously, I don't get why it's so hard.
