Update on Me: I am scheduled for ovarian drilling 6/16. If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know. I'm going into this blind as nothing else has worked. I have started going to one of the RESOLVE infertility support groups. It was nice to have someone to talk to that knew what I was saying. Next month, DH will be going with me.
QOTW: This is a tough one. There are times when I think I rule with a harder fist (with my nephew/dog/etc), but then DH surprises me and gets very passionate about one thing and it comes out of no where. My nephew lets us experience some of these things now since we take care of him sometimes. I just wish I could get him to stop hitting....

Update: I really think we're getting closer to actually TTC. We're still planning on starting to see what happens after our 4 year anniversary in July. I'm thinking we'll miss the O window that month anyway since DH will be traveling around that time and I may be traveling for work as well. I think August is when we'll actively start trying.
QOTW: I think DH will be the main enforcer. His dad was pretty strict when he was growing up and though he and I both disagree a lot with his dad, I think DH will be in the "this is how I grew up and I turned out fine" camp. I don't really know what kind of parent I want to be... but I do want us to present a united front. None of this "but Mom/Dad said!" stuff.

i just refilled a 3 month supply of birth control and this will be the last
so we're starting sometime between now and August! yayyyyyyyyyyyyy.
QOTW: I'll definitely be the stricter parent. I had a far more restrictive upbringing that DH. I still can't believe some of the stuff DH did/got away with. I've also watched DH with the dog (I know not the same thing) but I can just see how big of a sucker DH can be. If we have girls, they'll just have to bat their eyes and he'll let them have candy for breakfast

Our trouble TTC appointment this week didn't go very well. I'm still not certain what we are going to do, but we are talking about all the options they gave us. You can go ahead and move us down to the "on meds" category for the time being I suppose.
As for parenting, both of us discipline. We each have subjects we feel strongly about and seem to balance one another out. It works

I wanted to comment on this earlier, but I was posting from my phone. I don't really know anything about this, but it doesn't sound fun. Lots of hugs and prayers headed your way! Hoping for your BFP soon!
I'm almost through my 2ww, so we'll see how things go. I've been disappointed for so many months now, though, that I'm really trying not to get my hopes up. I don't have any of my normal pms symptoms yet, but no pg symptoms either, so while I want to be hopeful, I think I'm trying to force myself into pessimism, if that makes sense.
QOTW: I'm not sure. DH is totally the disciplinarian when it comes to the dogs (they're way too cute for me to get angry with them!!!), so he really thinks he'll be the tough one with our kids. I'm not sure I really agree, though, because I was raised in a house where mom was the one you didn't want to make angry, and I think I'll have a very similar parenting style to hers. So, I guess we'll probably make it a team effort.
Update: Just waiting to (hopefully) O. Been reading more lately so that has helped *a little*.
QOTW: I think I will be more of the disciplinarian. But I am only basing this on the way he treats the dog. I know it will most likely be different when baby comes but I guess we will have to see. I also think DH will be different with a boy then a girl.

We've been trying since February 2010 so this is month 3 for us.
In regards to discipline, I think I will be the initiator but I think DH will follow and we will merge to a joint effort. I've worked with children for years and he's still a little unsure of himself.
Nothing much going on. My charts are a mess and my last cycle was 42 days. Arg. This cycle, we've decided to use an OPK every day to see if we missed something. I have an appointment set up to see my OB-GYN in July so we'll just see what happens until then.
QOTW - I'm definitely more of the disciplinarian at my house. I am already stricter with SD than he is, but he always supports me in front of her even if we want to discuss it together later.
