I'm going to make a post! DH should be coming home for R&R really soon. How should I go about introducing him to Curly? What fun things did you do for your R&R?

T and I are planning on going to the beach for a weekend when he gets home so he can have some time with Tilly without any distractions. Just bonding time!
As far as how to introduce him to DH, I wouldnt know, we arent there yet.:(
My husband came home from his deployment when my son was about 5 months old and it was the first time they had met. I didn't try to do anything over the top or special - seeing his son for the first time was special enough! I made sure I was holding M and we gave him a couple of minutes to say hello before I handed him off. I stayed close just in case he got nervous but fortunately DS was a little too young for any sort of seperation or stranger anxiety so he just hung out in his Dad's arms. We took about 24 hours for just the three of us before heading out to make the rounds to see the families.
Curly has seen DH a couple times, but the last time was when he was 2 months old. He also sees him nearly every day on Skype, but I don't know if he's going to be able to make the connection between picture-Daddy and real-life Daddy. Curly's usually pretty social, and only has just a little stranger anxiety, so I'm hoping he'll make the re-introduction pretty easy!
We're also talking about either going away as a family (up in the mountains) for about 3 days, or just DH and I going away over night while my parents watch LO. I'm leaning towards just an overnight with DH, but DH can't make up his mind. We'll see!
