And welcome to the wonderful world of blood thinners - a pain in the butt (literally) but definitely worth it. DH usually gives me injections in the booty and if I have to do it, I do it in the hip/thigh region vs. the belly. When I first started the the injections in the belly, the bruises were huge and hurt. The bruises in the other places are much smaller or just needle tracks. GL!
