swaddling anyone?

Is it too late to begin swaddling at 6 or 7 weeks????? I am having trouble getting my DS to sleep unless he's in his swing or bouncer. He hasn't been swaddled since his first few days home. I am trying ot wean him from the swing and bouncer but when I put him down in his PNP on his back he just flails about and gets mad but I feel like he's too used to being unswaddled that he wouldn't like it now, but I thought it might help him from flailing about and getting mad.

Any ideas??

    Gisele didn't want anything to do with swaddling until she was about five weeks old. so nope i dont think its too late. she sleeps great now. she was doing the same thing.

    No, go for it! I took a break from swaddling and then started up at 7 weeks again. As soon as I did, Bella started sleeping all through the night!

    My DS won't sleep without being swaddled.  I don't think there ever is a time that isn't right to try it.  GL.
