    Hopefully DH does NOT know there is a woot-off.

    Last time there was a woot-off a 65 inch flat screen was delivered to our house. DH's rebuttal, 'But Stace, shipping was ONLY 5.00'

    Evit woot. EVIL!

    What's a Woot-off?  I've been to both of those sites, but I'm not familiar with how it works...

    woot is usually a daily deal. once it is sold out it's dead.

    however on 'woot off' days- once an item sells out- another one pops up.

    Pretty much just an evil ploy to deplete their inventories of past woot items that didn't sell out- OR were a big hit and were reordered due to popularity.

    lol Yeah.  I usually only buy if I'm going to be buying multiples of something (like for gifts) because then the shipping is great - You only pay $5.00 regardless of how many items you buy.

    LOL on the T.V. thing.  The $5 shipping can be hard to resist when they're selling big items...

    Fortunately my DH only gets really into it when they sell the "Bag of Crap" - For $5.00, you buy a "Bag of Crap" and you get an assortment of random (totally random items)... but a few people who buy a "bag of Crap" end up getting big-ticket items, like the t.v.'s and what not.

    He's never successfully gotten one before they sold out.  It's his life-long goal.

    DH has bought two or three before. a couple of MP3 players, a dvd player, some random crap but definitely some good stuff.

    LOL Gimpy is "limpy" now, as he can walk, so he can take it.
