For DD's birthday party? I just don't have time to bake and decorate this year. So Safeway? Lucky? Sam's Club? Anywhere better? We are in the Concord/Martinez/Walnut Creek area. Thanks!
DH's cousin is the head baker for the Emoryville location of Tea Cake & often bakes at the other locations. They are really good & I don't even really like cupcakes. They have a lemony one that is just delicious.
Re: Where should I order cupcakes from?
ive heard great things about this girl:

ditto Marisa's cupcakes!
Also these are two other options...super pretty, rather pricey (um, but delicious!)

We used her too. Mmmm, so yummy. I thought she was very reasonable and delivered an excellent product. Highly recommend her.
My next choice would have been Costco, but only based on price.

I love the cupcakes from the cupkates truck:

I've tracked the truck down a couple of times and everything I've tried was soooo good!
Another vote for Marisa. I've always loved whatever she does. www.marisacakes.com
