Today I'm wearing a wrap dress to work b/c all my work pants are too tight, and I definitely have a small bump. But I'm embarrassed I look pregnant already- I'm used to a flat stomach, and my "bump" isn't baby at all- just my stomach getting pushed up & out. I have a friend who has the same body type, and is 4 weeks ahead of me and she's just now starting to look pregnant. I don't know if she's gained any weight, I've only gained a pound (not for lack of trying!). I just feel like it's too early to be looking KU and my pants being too tight.

Re: embarrassed to look pregnant
Don't feel embarrassed - feel proud! Your body is changing to make room for your little one.
Also, if it makes you feel any better, there are plenty of bump-hungry ladies in First Tri who are like 6-8 weeks along going "Ooooh, am I showing yet??? I don't think it's bloat!?!"

Sorry, but you will just have to get over it. Everyone carries their pregnancy differently and some start showing sooner than others. I was visibly pregnant at 13 weeks. There isn't anything you can do about it.
ETA: Didn't mean for that to sound so snarky, just meant that you shouldn't compare your pregnant body to others because every body is unique in how it handles pregnancy.
I am the same way - I am not tiny, but I have (or rather I had) a flat stomach and you can definately tell with a lot of outfits - esp. long tee-shirts/dresses and tights. (I too have only gained a pound or two!)
Don't worry about it!!! You ARE pregnant - I would be more upset if I looked it and wasnt!
My due date is after yours and I think I officially "popped" this weekend.
Everyone is different.
My doctor told me I should be showing more by now and that I should of gained more weight. It made me feel bad about my flat stomach.
Everyone's body is different.
The only thing I am embarrassed about is when I try to wear my normal cloths, cause I look fat not pg! I have to wear a maternity top for me to look pg. I'm at the inbetween part.
Yeah, I knew when my bump had really developed because I had three people ask me within a day.
Then, a month later, I had a few guys ask me, so I knew it must be really obvious now.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.
