Anyone? weird nightly back pain?

For the last 5 nights, around 1-4am, i wake up with a strange pain on the right side of my mid-to-low back. ?it usually lasts about 30 minutes, less if i walk around, pee, and stretch. ?i am always reluctant to walk around and stretch, though, because then i'm less likely to get back to sleep any time soon. ?anyone else have this weirdness?

My back has been really sore at night. I've been sitting with a heating pad before I go to sleep and that's been helping me.
