Best restaurant in Miami?

DH and I are going to South Beach for our 5 year anniversary and are looking for a really great restaurant in Miami or any romantic things to do.  We love steakhouses (think Ruths Chris) and places like that (not so much into more exotic places), and don't mind chains because we have nothing in Sarasota!  We don't mind driving up to 30 minutes from SB and we love doing things like walking on the river, taking ferries, stuff like that.

Any suggestions for good areas to go/stay and good restaurants we could go to?  What would be your perfect anniversary in Miami?

    My favs when it comes to restaurants are Capital Grille in Brickell, Azul at the Mandarin Oriental or even Houstons in North Miami Beach. Have a great anniversary.

    I don't eat red meat...my perfect anniversary would be melting pot and a stay at the fountainebleau or anywhere on the sand.  However my husband's perfect anniversary would include either of those restaurants.

    Smith & Wollensky on South Beach is a great steakhouse.  And if you get a table in the back by the windows, great view!

    Baleen in Grove Isle I've heard is amazing!  It is mediterranean / morrocan.

    Personally, my favorite steakhouse is Ruth Chris, and there is one in the Gables if interested.

    I love Emeril's South Beach, it's amazing.

    Prime 112 is a great steak house on the beach.  I also love Ruths Chris for steak.  Gotham Steak is a new restaurant on the beach, I have not been there yet.  There is a Gotham restaurant in new york that's one of the top restaurants in the city and I have been there and it was one of the best meals I've ever had.  The one here is by the same people as the new york one but it's a steak place.

    Ditto on Smith and Wollensky!  Also, try Manny's Steakhouse in Brickell.. AMAZING!

    Definitely the best restaurant I have ever been too here in Miami. They have the most amazing food, but they are expensive. We go every year for our anniversary and the bill is past $250 (when you order a bottle of wine). Make reservations for an hour before you want to eat and they are never ont ime. We went 2 weeks ago and have 9:30 reservations and didnt get seated until 10:45...wtf!!! If you choose there you have to try their lobster bisque or the hawaiian tuna tartar special. and any of the steaks are amazing there. Yummm, so craving that right now!!

    Don Shula's Steakhouse is a little bit of a drive, but he was there (even though older) when we went and my dad was thrilled.
