early parenting classes nassau county

Hello:

Does andyone out there know of any early parenting courses I can take with my husband. I am overly equipt when it comes to the diaper changing, burping, ect. but my husband is not and I don't want him to feel like I'm telling him what to do or that he can't handle it when the baby comes. Any thoughts?

    Check with your hospital...we did a class through South Nassau. There is also a woman that teaches classes in Massapequa-I think the name is New Baby Belly

    North Shore/LIJ health system also has a ton of classes. Go to www.northshorelij.com, click on events and classes, then click on community wellness programs and more. There are all types of things, including car seat safety, which sounds like all of us could use because according to surveys 80% of people who "do it themselves" install them or use them incorrectly. I am bringing DH to classes, too.
