NTR: Is this a good job interview "weakness"?

Do they still ask what one of your weaknesses is during job interviews?  I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what to say, and the best that I can come up with is that since I've been working at home, alone, for the last 2.5 years, it will be an interesting transition going into an office.

What do you think?  Does that make me sound unreliable or something?

I'll probably bombard the board with interview questions today.  :)  Sorry in advance!

Re: NTR: Is this a good job interview "weakness"?

  • I wouldn't say that. Your weakness needs to be something that is a positive too.. such as.. Maybe you are a perfectionist.

  • Your "weakness" has to be a positive thing, something you too good at....too organized, too quick to offer help, too by-the-book.....
  • The New York Post has a Job section on Mondays and this exact question was in the "ask greg" column in yesterdays paper.  Let me see if its online.

  • BTW...what type of job are you going for and are you anticipating interviews or have you actually gotten an interview already?  (either way - - good luck!)

Phone interview tomorrow!  :)  For an admin. assistant job.  I haven't interviewed for a job since 2003, so I'm a little rusty (hence the questions).
