Why I hate Monday's...

#1 CD1. Sad

#2 Found out over the weekend from my sister that my grandmother (she recently passed away) left a college fund to each of my siblings children to cover ALL of college. I am the oldest of three and the only one without a child. DH and I were a bit stunned at the news and told that since we did not have a "physical child" at the time of her death we were not included. I guess the good out of this was it showed me what an amazing man I married and the love my sister has when said that they will share what they got with any future children we have.

Breaking open a bottle of wine tonight...thanks for letting me vent!

    That Sucks! Sorry about that. But, you do have a great sister. It sounds like something my sister would do. Don't you just love sisters?? Enjoy your wine, you definitely deserve it.

    Thanks ladies for listening....the wine was oh-so-good and you all are right, so nice to have a sis that has my back, as would have done the same for her! 

    I have seen "money" ruin many relationships in families and will not let this cast a shadow over mine with my siblings...they did nothing wrong and am truly happy that they have one less thing to worry about. DH and I are blessed with great jobs in a great city and will just find other ways to put a few more dollars away!

    What a rotten day.  I would feel totally stunned by the college fund issue to but I assume your grandmother just didn't think through it.  How kind of your sister - yay for that at least and generally once I get past CD 1 - I can kind of look forward to trying again.
