We have a video camera that is okay, but it has never been too great at recording inside and we are thinking about buying a new one this week before baby arrives. Any recommendations? What do you like/don't like? How did you make your decision regarding which one to buy? TIA!
Re: Did you get a new video camera?
Thanks for the rec, I think DH has been looking at that one. How is the picture quality in low light/indoors?
Pretty good IMO. Our den tends to be fairly dark and doesn't get much natural light. This is where we've shot most of the videos and they turn out just fine. The camera doesn't have a light on it though, so you can't do anything about the darkness.
We got a flip video camera. It's really small and shoots high def. You can plug it directly into your computer to download the videos or hook it up to your tv and watch the videos that way. It's obviously not a "professional" video camera, but it's very easy to use, affordable, and small/compact. We love it!
