Anyone use gDiapers?

If so, do you like them?  Do you use the disposable liner or the gcloth insert? TIA!

Re: Anyone use gDiapers?

  • I've got one that I use occasionally but I prefer the bumgenius flip which is the same concept as the gdiaper. The gdiaper has leaked on me a couple of times but the flip never has. I use the disposable liners in the gdiaper and disposable and cloth in the flip. I've never used the gcloth insert.

  • I tried them with DD#1 and hated them.  I didn't like all the assembly required (snap liner into cover then the insert) and it really didn't contain the newborn poo well, it clogged a toilet at home and a toilet at Applebees, and the elastic waistband dug into her skin and always left a deep red line!  It was a bummer.  The cover is super cute, though.  I ended up giving them all to a local nestie expecting.

  • We just started and so far love them! No leaks and no blow outs... I am thinking of using them full-time (right now only own 2 just to try it out)

Watch the videos on how to get a perfect fit, they really helped with making sure they are on right and you don't get any leaks.

Right now we use the disposable inserts but I plan to buy the cloth inserts too.

  • I just ordered a couple.   I will not be using the disposable inserts, though - only cloth.

My friend has tried grobaby, bumgenious, and a couple of others, and she recommended these (just with the cloth - she doesn't really use the disposable inserts).

Just like with disposable diapers, she said it's important to make she the little snap in line is properly sealed on the baby bum.    I like the look of them more and the fact that they have sizes, they just don't look as bulky as some of the other CD's.
