Avery is prone to get dry skin/eczema so we use cetaphil lotion cleanser on her. To wash her hair I used aveeno baby shampoo right at the end of her bath.
We did not like J&J...it really dried Allie's skin and made her head flaky. We changed to Aveeno and love it...they even have an extra moisturizing kind. We also changed to the Aveeno lotion and use it after every bath. We still use the Aveeno to bathe her, but just recently changed to the Suave 2-1 kids shampoo/conditioner (tear-free) since her hair is getting longer.
Allie ~ 01/26/09 ~ 7 lbs, 9 oz ~ 20.75 in.
& Amelia ~ 03/16/11 ~ 8 lbs, 1 oz ~ 21 in.
I've been rotating Aveeno sensitive and Burt's Bee's wash. Then I'll lotion him with Aveeno, which is much thicker than the Burt's Bee's lotion. I LOVE how the Burt's Bee's smell.
have you tried dr. bronner's castille soap? you can get it at target, and it comes in a mild baby formula. obviously we don't have a LO yet, but i use it for tons of things already (not the baby version). it's all natural, and has no harsh ingredients.
So far we have just used J&J and aveeno as well (all from shower gifts) but I was just curious what everyone else uses. Thankfully Aubrey hasn't had any skin issues so far and hoping it stays that way.
PJ has developed eczema...we are using Dove as the J & J was drying him out...the pedi told us to use Aquaphor for the eczema but before that we were told to use Cetaphil or Eucerine as a lotion
