Crocs and Stride Rite sizing: similar?

I want to order some Crocs for DD on Zappos but only have some new SRs to compare sizings to right now. I realize I can order a few pairs of the same to accomplish this but I thought I'd check here first. If your DC has a pair of both SRs and (real) Crocs, are the sizes the same or different? If diff, how?

Re: Crocs and Stride Rite sizing: similar?

  • Crocs run huge. DD is wearing 5 1/2 Stride Rite and 4/5 Crocs (which are still big)

  • We bought some mary jane type Crocs for DD and i think they are way too narrow.  We cannot buy certain shoes because in order for them to be wide enough they are too long.
  • I hate Crocs sizing.. DD has 4/5 now and they are kind of small and next size is 6/7 which is huge!

  • Crocs are sized kinda funny, 2-3, 4-5, 6-7.  Right now DS is in a size 6 for SR (still a touch big but he was right on the line for a 5 1/2).  Different styles of crocs in the same size also fit different.  The classic fit him well in a 4-5 but the Crocband style is a little big on him in a 4-5.  The other crappy part was when he outgrew the 2-3, the 4-5 was way too big on him for awhile.

Dang! Guess I'll need to take a look-see at a brick n' motar first. That's just too much complication for me lol.
