How did your lo handle the eye teeth?

DD is a monster lately with the eye teeth coming, but they have been bothering her for months before they were even close to breaking through.  We're going on about 3 weeks of only taking a few bites of food at a time, the last week has been awful as far as sleeping, and very moody too.

How long can these stupid teeth have her in so much pain?  I swear I have the world's slowest teether.  I mean really, months of these teeth causing her pain?!

  • I never noticed when B was teething....except now with the eye teeth.  The top two have barely come thru and the bottom two have yet to.  He has not been himself for over a month, and his sleeping sucks too.  Up at night sometimes, not easy going down, and up early (5:45am on Sunday!).  I hope it ends soon and really is all just his teeth and not his new schedule/behavior.

  • I never noticed dd teething until her eye teeth. They seemed to take forever to actually break through her gums!! the two bottom ones are through and just waiting on the top now. I am thinking those could be a little worse and i am scared about that! But we will see. Her top ones have been swollen for about 2 weeks now.

So jealous of that.  Every single tooth has been the end of the world in our house, so these eye teeth and 2yr molars better hurry up so we can celebrate the end of teething!

We havent even gotten started on the molars....I think.  He wont let me look in his mouth anymore!

  • The eye teeth were as bad as the molars.  But DS' eye teeth are very...uh, vampirish.  I asked DH if he thought so too, when he revealed that oh yeah, he had to have his filed down as a kid because they were so sharp.  Nice.  Now I know why they hurt him when they came in.

  • I feel ya!  Cadance has been teething since, get this, 2 months old!  I couldn't believe it when the doc told me that! You could see how swollen and puffy her little gums were.  Well she has 5 teeth and the past year has been literally hell on wheels here...it comes and it goes but is always there!  Thank god for teething tablets! Right now, I can see 4 more spots where they are coming...What is killing me is the fact that she won't hardly eat anything like she used to just a few months ago and all of a sudden, when she was sleeping soo good through the night, now she is waking up multiple times a night!  I will be sooooo glad when all of her teeth come in, I think I will really throw a party!!
