Protein in urine toward end of pregnancy???

in 3rd Trimester

Anyone else? I am 33 weeks and dr. found protein in urine. I didnt have this with my first pregnancy.  My blood pressure was fine which she said is good because if it were high.. then we would be thinking pre-e. So .. anyone else have this and ended up fine?

    I had it towards the end with DS and if my BP was even just slightly elevated the doc sent me for blood work to rule out pre e.  Luckily I was never diagnosed with it.

    That's good that your BP was still okay.  I had pre-e with DS and had protein in my urine and high BP/swelling, etc.  I was induced at 38w b/c of it.

    I am a vegetarian for the most part and this happens to me sometimes. Just up your protein! My midwife has me shoot for 100 grams of protein a day... If it happens to me twice in a row I have to do a diet log, no fun! It is one of those weird things your body does if your protein is low it spills it...

    I had it at 34 weeks and slightly elevated bp so they sent me for blood work. Today I was in again and had no protein in my urine. :)

    My BP was high on Friday and my pee showed protein too so they sent me for blood work and a 24 hour urine thingy (pee in a jug for 24 hours, not fun!).  My feet have had some bad swelling too but no high BP or protein before this.  I go back to see the doctor today and we will see what happens.

    I had it at my appt Fri with a slightly elevated bp.  I had to do a 24hr urine collection and bloodwork.  All came back fine though.
