Childcare recommendations in The Woodlands

I am in need of some recommendations for child care in the Woodlands! I am having the baby in September, but don't think he will need full time care until January 1. What are the best places to go? I just can't seem to find one very close that sounds good. We haven't toured any yet. I live off of 242(College Park), near 1488. Any suggestions would be great!

Re: Childcare recommendations in The Woodlands

  • I sent my DD to The Children's Courtyard in Alden Bridge from 6 weeks old until 2 years old.  Loved them when she was an infant, was not a fan from 18 months on.

When she was 2 until we moved when she was 5 we sent her to The Kangaroo Forest on Forestgate, near Wdlds Pkwy and Kuykendahl.  We loved it because #1 - it was right behind our house and we could walk there, and #2 - it was family owned and 1 of the owners was always there to talk to.  If we still lived there we would still use them for afterschool care,

  • A very picky friend of mine uses Primrose if you need a full-time program.  She's been very happy there.
  • We just moved Ian to The Climbing Tree, it's part of Christ Church United Methodist on Research next to the high school.  My friend used to work there and recommended it; she sends her daughter there as well.
