So what's the deal with the 4 year olds...
They seem coherent -- but they don't seem to listen or want to do what they are told. Granted I am rounding up to 4 where he will be in June... but still.
Then after they get in trouble or something goes wrong -- then they are listening -- but not until the disaster has struck...
 This just me !

Re: your 4 year old
Did you see all the 4 yo threads last week? Here's a link to one that kind of summed it all up. It will either make you laugh or cry, depending on what kind of mood you're in.

THANKS FOR THE REFERENCE!!
Sorry -- I have only started venturing back here lately -- a nice way to voice my lack of skills as a mom to strangers rather than friends on FB!
Thanks so much! Sorry for the redundant post!
Ha ha! I also had a thread from that same day.

Oh no, I wasn't saying you were posting old news. All the 4 yo posts last week were just getting kind of funny so I thought you would enjoy them (well, maybe "enjoy" is not the right word). You should come around more often, there's a huge group of nestie kids who are just turning 4. It's kind of been a theme around here lately, so you are in the right place.
The other day my 4 year old said something, to which I replied "you're smart, you know that?" Her reply: Duh, mom, I'm in preschool. I know everything."
That pretty much sums it up for us. She's learning so much new stuff she honestly thinks she knows everything and doesn't need to listen.
Thanks for the other posts -- those were great!!
I don't feel like I am the only one anymore! TG!
