  What's hilarious is the chick says that if I wear white pants, I need to note that in the company manual, it is specifically stated that white full coverage underwear only can be worn with them. 

  She went on to tell me about a story of a few girls who would wear thongs and prints.  NOT cool in your work environment.

  If she's going to be so anal about it, really, the only correct choice is actually nude colored undies.  I hate looking at giant white butts when people wear white undies under white pants.  It's just wrong.  You should point that out to her on your first day.  You would already be improving the quality of the office environment on day 1.
