Anyone taken DC to a pedi GI?

We took ava when she was a baby, but I can't remember what the did.

Drew has his first appt at the hospital this afternoon.  Just wondering what happened at the first appointment.

    We took my DS to Floating Hospital in Boston.  He examined him, took a history. Basically we opted not to do any testing as his reflux was not major.  He upped his zantac by alot and we kept him on that. He is 14 mths now and he is no longer on it.

    Ava's was @ Childrens. Today we are going to one @ UMASS. Drew's reflux is awful - we have tried Zantac and Prevaicd. But I don't want him to have to go through invasive testing or anything. It is so obvious, just by watching him, so I hope that they take a history and we can work with uping meds first.

    Poor babe! Our pedi said the pedi GI docs are much more comfortable dispensing higher doses so hopefully he just needs an adjustment or a change to one of the others.  The GI doc said they would do the scope and I really didn't want to put him thru that. 

    Umass is probably much closer for you guys, right? I believe you are out in western mass with Jamaica/Kap, right?

    My twins both went to one as infants.  They both had upper GIs done.  They were both on zantac and prevacid.  DD was off meds by 13.5 mo and DS was off my at 15.5 mo.  Hope you get some answers soon!

    Mostly went over the history and did a quick exam and then scheduled follow up tests.  He was kind of a douche and the whole thing was over in like 15 minutes.
