Should I go to the doctor?

The office doesn't open for another 20 minutes. My 4 yr old has been complaining off and on about her tummy hurting for about a week now. She threw up on Friday night in her sleep, a huge amount. She threw up last night in her sleep as well. Then she just threw up right now, really really gross. No fever, just keeps saying her belly hurts, I think she's had diarrhea a few times as well. I just don't know, like, is that normal to be throwing up for this length of time? What could the doctor do? Do i just wait it out, keep her home and eating bland foods?

    I'd probably call our advice nurse line, and they'll usually tell me whether I need to bring them in.  

    My middle child had a stomach virus when he was 10 months old that lasted 10 days.  Poor kid kept puking and puking.  He acted fine for the most part except that he was more tired than usual.  They told me he was fine as long as he stayed hydrated.  I don't know how he did it, since he seemed to throw up every time he nursed, but he was fine.

    Hope she feels better soon!

    I made the appointment to bring her in. I don't really know what they're going to tell me other than, "keep her home and hydrated," but we'll see.
