1) Weekend was great. Way too fast as usual.
2) Another long week of work. Yuck.
3) I am SO sick of living paycheck to paycheck. I wish my student loans and car payment would just disappear.
4) Cora is cruising around the furniture and started climbing up the stairs. She started standing up last weekend and it's just so crazy how quickly she's getting around in the past week.
1) Weekend was fun but SO busy. I really should have taken today off to actually have a day of rest, but at least everything I did this weekend was fun!
2) Not a lot is going on this week. Except I just looked at my calendar and realized it's my dad's birthday on Sunday. Crap.
3) I just wish people would cut me a little slack sometimes. I know to people with more than one child, having just one baby seems like it should be easier, but strangely enough, all those moms who look at my judgmentally when I race into something or other late again because DS had a meltdown right before I left and DH was not there because he's out working two jobs to help support us so I had to deal with it myself again....All those moms who judge me or give me a "look" all SAH. I know SAH is no cake walk, believe me. Some days I'm very happy to leave my screaming child at DC to go to work. But it is not easy to work 40+ hours, sleep maybe 5 hours a night on average (even though DS is STTN - I still have a ton of crap to squeeze in after he goes to bed), then have a weekend that is non-stop, then repeat. Sometimes I just want to break down in tears and I DESERVE a little leeway at those times ok?!?!?
4) I forgot my brag because I got caught up in my vent lol. DS has learned to stick his tongue out and now does it all the time. It's freaking adorable. Also, he now rolls on his tummy to sleep at night and he sometimes will be sleeping with his little butt in the air when we go check on him before we go to bed at night and it's so cute.
1) Weekend was good, but busy. We were away for my cousin's Bar Mitzvah. It was nice to see everyone and have them all meet Addie.
2) Just work and hanging out with Addie. The weather is yucky.
3) She's still not sleeping great and I'm EXHAUSTED. She actually slept better the 2 nights away from home than she has at home in a couple of weeks. Coincidence or is there something "wrong" with her crib/room here? And she's still not napping great either. Bah.
4) She did amazing this weekend being away. She was great in the car both ways, 4+ hours each ride. She napped decently and slept great at night. She was really good with being passed around too. She's grabbing things and interacting. It's so cool to watch her do things with purpose.
1) How was your weekend? Great although the weather sucked! Did some laundry, visited with our friends and their 5 month old twins, and ran a few errands.
2) What's going on this week? Work. Boo. I have to travel to Boston on Wednesday. See #3.
3) Vent about something. I am looking at the bright side -- I was able to convince everyone that a day trip was not only doable but was enough time to do what I need to do. It'll be tough. I'm stressed about pumping in the airport, pumping in the office up there (I tried to get assurance that a room would be reserved so I didn't have to scramble...). My flight gets in at 7:01 PM. If it's on time and the bus to the lot comes quickly I'll make it home by 8 and DH can keep her up so I can nurse her and see her. If it's delayed or anything is running behind, I'll miss out. I am really praying it works out but not getting my hopes up.
4) Brag about your LO. Mallory said "mama" a few times Friday night for the first time and repeated it all weekend. I know it's super early but she said it to me each time...maybe just a coincidence but I'll take it! She's also creeping all around. Won't be long until she crawls.

3) Vent about something - I had a mini-meltdown in the middle of the night last night feeling underappreciated and tried to start a fight with DH then I realized I was just tired and didn't feel like talking at all and that what I was feeling is just part of the working mother condition.
4) Brag about your LO - she's so CUTE! She did GREAT during family pics yesterday and she is thisclose to sitting but doesn't realize she can do it yet

18 months
1) How was your weekend? Good. We had the march for babies walk on Saturday and then had family and friends over for a BBQ afterward. It was so beautiful out this weekend, it was great to get outside.
2) What's going on this week? My best friend is moving across country tomorrow, I am so sad. So I will be saying goodbye to her tonight. I have a busy work week this week as well, but looking forward to a relaxing weekend come friday.
3) Vent about something - my mother keeps telling me I need to call my grandmother. I get it, but the way she tells me drives me bonkers. She tries to do it innocently, and then she lectures me, and then she puts it in an email with smileys to try and make it sound sweeter. She thinks that I just have 5 minutes to sit down and do absolutely nothing but talk on the phone. Okay seriously, I am a full time mother and employee, my DD goes to work with me - I work in an extremely small office and it has worked out amazingly well, but I just don't have time to even remember to call people anymore, quit lecturing me! - okay vent over, gheesh.
4) Brag about your LO
I just can't believe how big she is getting considering how small she started off. She was 3lbs 5oz at birth and is not over 4x her birth weight, that is just nuts!! She is growing like crazy, and just loves to talk to her toys (and yell at them) and throw them and now she is blowing raspberries every chance she gets. It is so cute!
