8 of my friends are throwing a small diaper & book shower for me tomorrow night. I cannot think of a good gift for them. Any cute, inexpensive ideas?? (I hate to say inexpensive but with so many hostesses, that can add up quickly)
Back in August I helped host an engagement party and our bride to be got us all (there were a bunch of us hosting) several cake bites from pastry art. Think something like that would be ok?
ETA: what if I did a couple of tea towels for each hostess? Something like this https://www.etsy.com/listing/45399094/fancy-tea-towel-set-amy-butler-print
Re: hostess gift ideas??
Those tea towels are really cute...I know you sew so would you make them yourself?
Also anything edible is usually good.
I saw something really cute the other day but you might think this is corny. It was a skinny clear vase that had about 5 Yankee candle votive candles in it(the candles fit perfectly) and then a fake gerbera daisy (just the flower part, they had cut off the stem) at the top. You could get the vases at a dollar store, and the flowers at HL (they run 50% off most of the time). The candles might run up the price though because you'd have to buy about 40 of them for 8 vases. But you could probably do the whole project for 60 bucks.
